Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026Life Hack Tools ("we") explains how information is handled in Aido, an app that connects care helpers looking for work with care facilities. Aido is currently being tested as a TestFlight external test.
01Information we collect
To create an account and sign in, we collect the following: email address, password, display name (a nickname is fine), role (helper or facility), and, for facilities, the facility name.
02Purpose of use
We use this information to create accounts and sign in, and to provide job postings (spot work) and applications between helpers and facilities.
03Storage and management
Information is stored in Firebase, provided by Google. Data is stored in the Tokyo region (asia-northeast1) of Google Cloud. Passwords are managed by Firebase Authentication. For how Firebase handles data, see the Firebase privacy information and the Google Privacy Policy.
04Notes during testing
Aido is still being tested. Please do not enter personal information such as your full name, address, phone number, or medical history.
05Planned features and location
We plan to add a feature that shows the approximate area of each job location on a map, and a feature that shows train and bus routes from your current location to a job location. These are planned features and are not yet available. To display a route, the app temporarily uses your device's current location. Your current location is not saved. We will update this page when these features are released.
06Sharing with third parties
Except where required by law, we do not provide your information to third parties. The Firebase service mentioned above is an external service that processes information to store data and handle sign-in for the app.
07Deletion
In the app, you can delete your account and user information from "Delete account" on the account screen.
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot delete from within the app, please request deletion through the contact form. We will review each request and delete the data manually, and respond within 30 days.
