Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026Life Hack Tools ("we") sets out this privacy policy for how information is handled in Aske ("the app").
01Information the app handles (on your device)
The app saves the following information only on your device.
- Workout records: dates, exercises, set weight, reps, time and distance, completion status, and an in-progress workout
- Templates and settings: saved templates, language, rest timer setting, and bar weight
This information is not sent to our servers. The app has no account registration or sign-in, and does not use your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or camera.
02Communication with outside services
The app communicates with outside services only as follows.
- Checking for app updates (Expo, EAS Update): To check for and receive updates, a randomly generated install ID, the app version, and the OS type are sent to Expo (650 Industries, Inc.).
- Form guide images and videos (Google Cloud Storage): To show exercise form guides, images and videos are loaded from Google Cloud Storage. Because of how the internet works, connection information such as your IP address reaches Google. The app does not send anything that identifies you in this request.
Apart from the above, the app does not send your information to outside parties.
03Backup and restore
Only when you tap "Copy backup" is the whole of your workout records, templates, and settings copied to the device clipboard. Only when you tap "Restore from clipboard" is the clipboard read.
Backups are never sent or saved automatically. Other apps may be able to read the clipboard, so take care with the contents of a backup. A backup contains your complete workout history.
04What the app does not collect or use
The app has no advertising, no analytics, no automatic crash reporting, and no in-app purchases.
05Deleting data
Data on your device is deleted when you uninstall the app. You can also delete it from within the app with "Reset records on this device".
Your device's operating-system backup features (such as iCloud or Google backup) may include app data. In that case, delete it through the settings of that feature.
We do not store workout records on our servers, so there is no data on our side to delete on request.
06Third-party services
- Expo (EAS Update): delivery of app updates
- Google Cloud Storage: delivery of form guide images and videos
These are used only as needed to provide the app. We do not sell or share your information with third parties.
07Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
08Changes to this policy
We may change this policy as needed. Any changes will be published on this page.
