Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026Life Hack Tools ("we") sets out the following privacy policy regarding how user information is handled in InstantID (an ID photo maker; the "App"). The App requires no account and can be used anonymously. All processing of the photos you capture or select happens entirely on your device — your photos are never sent or uploaded to any external server. Cutting out the person runs on-device using Apple's on-device processing (Vision).
01Information We Handle
The App handles the following information. Your photos themselves are never sent externally.
- Photos: Photos you capture with the camera or select from your photo library are used to create ID photos. All processing, including cutting out the person, happens on your device (on-device processing via Apple Vision), and photos are never sent to an external server. The ID photos you create are saved to your device (e.g. camera roll) by your own action.
- Advertising data (Google AdMob): In the free version, Google AdMob may use device identifiers, an advertising ID and usage data to serve and measure rewarded video ads. On iOS, we ask for your consent via App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before any tracking.
- Crash logs & diagnostics (Sentry): Collected via Sentry to improve the App's stability and quality (analytics purposes). This does not identify you personally.
- Purchase information (RevenueCat): To manage and restore the Pro (one-time) purchase, we use your purchase history and an anonymous identifier via RevenueCat. No account is required, and we never hold payment details such as credit card numbers.
The App does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address or phone number.
02Purpose of Use
- Creating, saving, sharing and generating print sheets of ID photos (processed on device)
- Serving and measuring rewarded video ads (free version)
- Improving app quality and fixing issues
- Managing and restoring the Pro (one-time) purchase
03Third-Party Services
The App uses the following external services to provide its features. Each service handles data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
- Google AdMob (Google): Uses device identifiers, an advertising ID and similar to serve and measure rewarded video ads in the free version.
- Sentry: Used to collect diagnostic information for crash analysis and quality improvement (analytics purposes).
- RevenueCat: Used to manage and restore the Pro (one-time) purchase using your purchase history and an anonymous identifier (payment itself is processed by the App Store / Google Play).
These are used only to the extent necessary to provide the App's features. We never sell user information to third parties for advertising purposes.
04Permissions
The App uses the following device permissions to provide its features.
- Camera: To take a photo for your ID photo.
- Photo library: To choose a photo to turn into an ID photo, and to save the photo you create.
05Advertising & App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
The App shows rewarded video ads via Google AdMob. On iOS, you can choose whether to allow tracking under App Tracking Transparency (ATT). You can still use the App if you decline, though the ads shown may be less relevant to your interests.
06Data Storage & Deletion
The ID photos you create are stored on your device. You can delete them from your camera roll, or delete all data by uninstalling the App from your device. If you wish to have any other data deleted, please contact us at the address below.
07Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
08Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as needed. Any changes will be published on this page.
