Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026This policy explains how Life Hack Tools (“we”) handles your information in Taali: Dance Practice Player (“the app”). The app needs no account, collects no personal information (except what you choose to send through the in-app contact form), and contains no ad SDK, tracking, or analytics SDK.
01Our approach
The app has no login or account. We do not collect personal information such as your name or location. We receive an email address only if you type one yourself in the in-app contact form (see 07). The app contains no advertising mechanism, no tracking of user behavior, and no analytics SDK.
02Information stored on your device
The following information is stored only on your device and is never sent elsewhere.
- Your setlist (added songs, start and end of each song, and order)
- Settings (display language, tempo, loop, and so on)
This information is deleted when you uninstall the app.
03Share links and cue sheets
Only when you choose to share, the app creates a share link (URL) or a plain-text list of songs and sections (a cue sheet) and hands it to your device's share sheet. A share link contains the song IDs and section information. You choose the destination in the share sheet; the app never sends anything automatically. Links and text you send to other apps or services, such as LINE, are outside our control.
04Song search
When you search for a song, your search terms are sent through our API (Cloudflare Workers) to the YouTube Data API (Google). Search terms are not linked to any information that identifies you and are not stored on our server. The results of the same search are cached for a short time. To limit access and prevent excessive use, we may temporarily process IP addresses.
05YouTube embedded playback and ads
Videos are played in the official YouTube embedded player (YouTube IFrame Player). For this reason, YouTube may show ads and collect viewing data on its own. This is done under YouTube’s terms and policies, and we are not involved. The app itself shows no ads.
The app does not download, save, convert, or export audio or video. It only controls the playback position.
Your use of YouTube in the app is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. For how Google handles data, see the Google Privacy Policy.
06Update checks
To check whether an app update is available, we send technical information such as a randomly generated install ID, the app version, and the OS type to Expo (EAS Update, 650 Industries, Inc.). This does not include your setlists or search terms.
07In-app contact
When you send a message from "Contact" in the app, the message text, an optional email address, the app version, the OS type, and the device model are sent to our contact server (Cloudflare Workers) and notified to our team tools. We use them only to reply and to investigate problems, never for advertising or tracking. The email address is optional. To ask for deletion, please use the contact form.
08Diagnostics and analytics
When the app crashes or hits an error, we send the error details (crash log), the app version, the OS type and version, and the device model to the error-monitoring service Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) to investigate the cause. We attach no search terms, setlist contents, name, email address or other information that identifies you. The app contains no usage analytics or advertising mechanism.
09Permissions
The app does not use the camera, microphone, photos, location, or contacts permissions.
10Children
The app is not directed at children and is intended for people aged 18 and over.
11Deleting your data
You can delete your setlist in the app at any time. Uninstalling the app deletes everything stored on your device. We hold no setlists on our servers and do not store search terms, so you do not need to send us a deletion request.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as needed. Any changes will be posted on this page.
