Help and support for Mahjong Cho
01The app isn't working
Try closing and restarting the app. If the issue persists, update to the latest version.
02My data is gone
Mahjong Cho saves your records on your device, and also saves them to our server automatically whenever you're online.
When you change phones or reinstall the app, you can move your records with a transfer code. On your old device, go to Settings → "Data transfer" (データ引き継ぎ) → "Issue transfer code (old device)" (引き継ぎコード発行(旧端末)) to get a code. Then on your new device, go to Settings → "Enter transfer code (new device)" (引き継ぎコード入力(新端末)) and enter the 8-digit number. The code expires 10 minutes after it is issued.
If you no longer have your old device, please reach out through the contact form.
03I want to delete my account
In the app, go to Settings → "Account" (アカウント) → "Delete account and data" (アカウントとデータを削除). This deletes your match records, players, and friend connections stored on our server, along with all data on this device. This cannot be undone.
If you can't do this from the app (for example, because you've already deleted it), please send a request through the contact form under "Data deletion request". If you know it, please include your user ID (Settings → "Operator settings" (操作者設定) → "User ID" (ユーザーID)).
04The app is showing "Enter auth migration code" (認証移行コード入力)
This means the app needs a one-time auth migration code, issued by our support team, to keep syncing.
Please reach out through the contact form. Including your user ID (Settings → "Operator settings" (操作者設定) → "User ID" (ユーザーID)) helps us respond faster.
The code is 12 letters and numbers in the form "XXXX-XXXX-XXXX" and is valid for 15 minutes after it is issued. Enter it in Settings → "Enter auth migration code" (認証移行コード入力).
Contact
If the above doesn't help, please use the contact form below. For bug reports, it helps a lot if you tell us your device (iPhone / Android) and what you were doing when it happened. You can also reach us by DM on X (Twitter).
