Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: September 11, 2026Life Hack Tools ("we") sets out the following privacy policy regarding how user information is handled in Batto (a baseball scorebook app; the "App"). The App requires no account registration and no login, and can be used anonymously. Your game records are stored only on your device, and their contents leave your device only when you choose to share a score. Separately, we collect crash logs to detect and fix problems in the App. The App shows no advertising and performs no tracking for advertising purposes.
01Information Stored Only on Your Device
The following information is stored only in your device's local storage. It is never sent anywhere automatically.
- In-progress game data: The contents of the game you are recording (innings, runs, at-bat results and so on) are stored on your device (storage key: batto.activeGame.v1).
- Team information: Team names, batting orders, player names and uniform numbers are stored on your device (storage key: batto.teamProfiles.v1).
This data exists only on your device and is removed when you uninstall the App.
02Information Sent When You Share a Score
The game data and team information you enter is sent externally only when you choose to share a score. When you do, the following information is sent to Supabase's servers, as needed to provide the sharing feature.
- Both team names
- Both teams' scores
- The inning and the state of the game
- The game title
- The batting orders (the list of player names for both teams) — depending on what you enter, these may be real names
- The 12 most recent at-bat log entries (display text that includes player names, such as "Top 1st — Kenta Sato: single to left … 1 run!")
- Structured at-bat event data (inning, batting order position, result of the at-bat, and runner advances)
That is the full extent of what is sent. No photos, location data or contacts are ever transmitted. All communication is encrypted (HTTPS / TLS).
Once shared, this information remains stored on Supabase's servers.
03Who Can See a Shared Link, and Deletion
When you share a score, a viewing URL is issued. That URL contains a hard-to-guess ID, but anyone who knows the URL can view the shared score. The App does not provide any mechanism to restrict who can view it (such as a password or invitation).
Because shared content includes player names, please be careful about who you send the URL to.
At present, the App has no in-app feature for deleting a score you have shared. If you would like a shared score deleted, please contact us at dev@lh.tools and we will handle it individually.
04Crash Log Collection
The App collects crash and error logs via Sentry in order to detect and fix problems in the App (quality improvement / analytics purposes).
- What is collected: Error information at the time of a crash or error, your device model, OS version, app version and similar diagnostic information that Sentry collects automatically.
This does not identify you personally. We do not implement any deliberate transmission of the game data or player names you enter. We never sell the diagnostic information we collect to third parties or provide it for advertising purposes.
05Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not collect any of the following.
- Personally identifiable information such as your name, email address or phone number
- Photos or camera imagery
- Location data
- Contacts (address book)
The App also shows no advertising and performs no tracking for advertising purposes. We never sell or share user information with third parties.
06Third-Party Services
The App uses the following external services to provide its features. Each service handles data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
- Supabase: Used solely for the score sharing feature (storing shared data and issuing the viewing URL). It is not used for data synchronisation or backup.
- Sentry: Used to collect diagnostic information for crash analysis and quality improvement (analytics purposes).
Unless you choose to share a score, your game data and team information are never sent externally.
07Permissions
The App does not require sensitive device permissions such as camera, photo library, location or contacts.
08Data Storage & Deletion
- On-device data (games and team information): Deleted when you uninstall the App from your device.
- Shared scores: Remain stored on Supabase's servers. There is currently no in-app feature to delete them. If you would like them deleted, please contact us at the address below.
- Crash logs: Stored on Sentry's service.
09Children's Privacy
The App is intended for people aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as needed. Any changes will be published on this page.
