Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 28, 2026Life Hack Tools ("we", "us", or "our") sets forth this Privacy Policy regarding the handling of user information in the applications ("the App") we provide.
01Information We Collect
Our apps may handle the following information. What is actually handled varies by each app's features; see "Data Handled Per App" below for details.
- User-provided information: Data necessary for app functionality (text, numbers, dates, photos, etc.)
- Location data: Collected only by apps that provide location-based features, and only with the user's permission
- Automatically generated identifiers: Anonymous IDs generated within the app (these do not identify a specific individual). Apps that use a backend use this anonymous ID to sync and transfer data
- Diagnostic information: Crash logs and performance data (to improve app stability)
As a rule, our apps do not collect personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers. No account registration is required; where sign-in is needed, only an anonymous ID generated on the device is used. However, some apps (e.g. Rete's features for shops) use an email address to create shop-owner accounts. See "Data Handled by Each App" below for details.
02Data Handled Per App
The types and purposes of data handled by each app are listed below. None of our apps sell or share user data with third parties. All communication is encrypted (HTTPS / TLS).

*1 Peckish sends location data to an external service (Google Maps Platform) to search for restaurants. This is processing required to provide the feature; we do not sell or share information that identifies users.
*2 Rete is a stamp-card app for shops; only shop owners create an account with an email address and password (visitors need no account and use only an anonymous ID). Images selected by shops are uploaded to cloud storage. The current version does not obtain location data.

03Purpose of Use
Collected information is used solely for the following purposes:
- Providing app functionality and necessary processing
- Data sync and transfer between devices
- Improving app quality and fixing issues
04Data Storage
Data is stored in the following locations:
- On device: Local storage within the app
- Server: Cloud servers (may include data centers located in Japan)
05Third-Party Disclosure
We do not provide, sell, or share user information with third parties, except as required by law.
06Data Deletion
Users can delete local data by uninstalling the app from their device. If you wish to delete server-side data, please contact us using the information below.
07Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
08Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as needed. Any changes will be published on this page.
